That's what's between quotation marks. I can't make much sense out of it. It's just something he said to an audience, but as the author of this piece pointed out, "distrust" of weapon-manufacturers is, at best, in tension with the idea of bombing railway lines to save the Jews.
At a minimum, it suggests he’s not a careful thinker...certainly not a speaker who thinks well on his feet. That’s really surprising given he’s a lifelong priest.
