I am bringing a couple of PV panels over tomorrow and will check the output around midnight or earlier if there is activity. I had looked at the night voltage several years previously but although it was appreciably positive, I can’t remember the absolute number.
Thanks. I saw 6 volts on an MPPT controller (Midnite Solar “The Kid” controller) and no current of course. Elevation here is about 9,200 feet with cool nights. Last night, the low was in the 30s (relatively warm night here for summer). I can get some really high voltage spikes with dim morning light in winter (cold modules with temps in the minus-30s, F). But summer nights like last night, it’s usually around 1 volt, and winter nights, usually 2 or 3 volts.
