Senator Sessions voted against TPA in 2002 saying the same things then that he’s saying now. That agreement expired in 2007. None of the stuff he feared back then occurred, but he’s back with the Chicken Little The Sky is Falling routine again.

Well he’s joined by the Heritage Foundation, Numbers USA, Phyllis Schlafly, Louis Gohmert, and many Freepers on this forum.

Good enough for me!

THIS particular TPA/TPP has been worked on for 6 years by the Obama administration.

“We’re in active discussion on TPA,” said McConnell, adding, “It’s an enormous grant of power, obviously, from a Republican Congress to a Democratic president, but that’s how much we believe in trade as an important part of America’s economy.”

Why would anyone in their right mind wish to give Obama an enormous grant of power?
