He must think St. Michael the Archangel wasn’t a Christian. That’s one big sword he carries.
While there are many religious and laypeople in the Vatican who are “sowing good seed,” the devil is still getting his way by using others “to sow weeds.”
Even the pope is not immune to this temptation, he said; it’s a danger “for me, too,” because “the devil gives you that yearning.”
So in addition to looking for the usual security threats, the pope told the security guards to also crack down on backstabbing and courageously call people out.

LouD, you told me years ago that you would find me at some Freeper event & kick my ass. I’m resdy to submit to your ass-kicking only if you publicly accept this statement by the pope & come unarmed witbiut anyone to do the job for you.
He can call himself a Guernsey Cow. That don’t mean you can milk him.

“Is the Pope Catholic?” No longer a joke.
Pope Strikes again
I’ve long said the pope can’t call himself Christian so it works out....
Catechism of the Catholic Church:
2308 All citizens and all governments are obliged to work for the avoidance of war. (2266)
However, as long as the danger of war persists and there is no international authority with the necessary competence and power, governments cannot be denied the right of lawful self-defense, once all peace efforts have failed.
.... Best of luck trying to defend yourself from unjust aggression without weaponry.
So would the Pope have disapproved of the Crusades?
My LCMS church is doctrinally sound and right on I have seen some nondenominational churches that are loopy the bottom line is for a Christian to use the discernment of the Holy Spirit in choosing a worship home
but is the catechism really relevant to world affairs and nations any more than Sharia law?
Without anyone to do the job for you...
Yes, they were great men for sure. Pope John Paul II also wrote wonderful books along with his successor, Benedict XVI. This Pope is not impressive.
Belief does not mean one has to be a church member. My beliefs are not shaken.
Yes, you are correct, the LCMS is standing against the flood of Evil. LCMS is getting more and more Isolated by all other Lutherans.
It’s a daily occurrence.
How long before someone chimes in that he’s been misquoted, mistranslated, misunderstood, mis-whatever?
My son is currently in the LCMS seminary in St. Louis we are used to being looked at askance by the other Lutherans. I couldn’t be prouder that he has chosen to serve the Lord in this capacity As for the other so called Lutherans they are the ones that have left the narrow road
Wonder what he really meant...Someone's sure to tell us...
At a time when Christianity is on the defensive in many places, a retard in the Vatican is NOT anything about which to be pleased.
