You are right about that. Rove talks like an accountant, he thinks like an accountant, and he has tricked people into thinking he is a deep thinker.
The Bushes and helpers like Rove are way beyond the lives of ordinary US citizens. Give credit to daddy Bush for his WWII service but don’t let it blind you to the reality that daddy Bush was no more of a hero than thousands of others such as my only brother who was killed on Okinawa. If you want to argue that papa Bush’s pilot experience was something extraordinary I remind you of the likes of Boyington, Kinnick, and thousands of others. For me the Bushes are a self aggrandizing family closely connected to the Saudi sheiks.
