The only question remaining is, how loudly will you whine when Jeb gets nominated?
I won't whine at all. The U.S. is on a steep slope to third world status. Jeb is the defacto nominee. He has the Republican machine behind him not to mention all the influence the Bush family has collected throughout the years. He will have a Billion dollars at his disposal and a huge organization in which to apply it. The also rans in the party Cruz, Scott, Rubio etc. needed to run on a narrow conservative line which they have failed to do within a couple of months of announcing their candidacy. The conservative base was their only hope of supplanting Bush. Now along comes Trump with a Billion dollars at his disposal and making bold statements like America first, build the wall, bring American jobs back home. I'm sorry the guy has sucked all the air out of the room. Jeb will have a difficult time (as Hillary light) competing against Trump and the rest of the field will be playing "me too!" to Trump's tune.
I also won't whine because no one has indicated to me that they will do anything other than what Jeb is going to do. Cruz had me fooled initially but when he played ball with the trade deal what's the difference. Rand Paul cares more about being a libertarian than America. Walker is the most conservative guy from one of the most liberal states in America. Rubio is still trying to play catch up after his support for illegal immigration. Huckabee thinks himself as Solomon and keeps looking for babies (metaphor for issues) he can split down the middle. Carly is good but has not had enough play time as a CEO or politician to instill my confidence. She may make a good VP depending how she holds up in the campaign.
I guess the question I have is will you be whining when your guy falls to Jeb? Nobody other than Trump has a chance against him.
