Siwakoti’s wife, Samira was shot and killed allegedly by Kingston shortly after he robbed her at the Rapido convenience store the couple owned off of Main Street in The Colony. Investigators said they believe Kingston was the person who walked into the store, stole money and then shot the woman one time in the face, killing her. Samira Siwakoti was a mother of two young children.
Coulon said that an anonymous tip lead them to a location where the suspect, Kingston, was reportedly staying. As police moved in on Kingston, police said he fled the scene and was apprehended a short time later while hiding nearby in the neighborhood. Coulon said there are other “persons of interest” in the robbery and they expect several other arrests in the next couple weeks.
