Law enforcement said this runt surrendered without incident. The same was said about James Holmes, the theater shooter in Aurora, Colorado. They surrendered without incident because neither man wanted to take a bullet. Both would have crapped their pants had even one of their victims been armed and shot back. There would not have been a shootout, these shooters likely would have turned and ran, hopefully taking a round in the back in the process. But instead we had unarmed innocents sitting/crouching/lying helplessly while they waited their turn to die. As sad as that was, I'll bet they were all in favor of the "Gun Free Zone".
Americans need to be better informed should they ever find themselves in a situation like the one in Charleston. Unfortunately, idiots like Shrum are misinforming them.
