I agree. I have loved that man for fifteen years. He always covered “stuff” that did not interest me, but it was minimal. He started making those things the main part of his show. He has a right, he always said he talked about things that interested him. They just don’t interest me.
I was thinking his sponsors may have told him he was talking about politics too much. Or it may have been his wife. Wives can really influence. Witness the Bush men.
No, conservative talk is alive and well. The talkers will have to, as one poster said, return to his roots.

It is true, the father is the head of the family. And he must be obeyed. But the mother is the neck. And she can make that head turn any way she wants it to.

Line from the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding

Rush will only go so far. It obviously pains him very much to badmouth a republican and he’s pretty lukewarm when discussing the establishment. Even though he knows exactly what is going on, he just won’t go there. He stops short.

He has been trying lately to take it to the level that he needs to be on, because he is aware his listeners are already there.

This is why so many of us turn to Savage and others who aren’t afraid, or aren’t bought and paid for yet, to dig deeper into the story.
