What scares me is the possibility of him running as an Independent in the General Election. That will just hand the keys to the White House to that evil incarnate, witch Hillary Clinton. Just like Ross Perot handed the keys to her husband in l992 when he ran on a Third Party ticket against George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
As long as it's not one of these traitorous Republicans in the Senate, I could accept that.
First, the GOP must die.
Everything else comes after that.
It’s one reason why I never consider independent candidates.
The net effect always seems to be to siphon off votes from the GOP candidate and hand the election over to the Dems.
However, I know many Dems who think Ralph Nader on the ballot in 2000 helped get GWB elected that year.
