Well the ‘wazoo’ will be reduced by about the size of a
work desk according to one article I read.
Germany is one of the largest depositors with something like 1400 tons left, but the bullion vault is about half full with something like 6500 to 7000 tons of gold there. At its peak there were around 12,000 gold bars at one time. To put it in perspective, we're talking about the Texas gold, which has a value of about $1 billion. That's roughly 20 tons of gold.
