Former Spokane NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal, whose white parents say she has been pretending to be black for years, says in a new interview that she related to Caitlyn Jenner’s struggles as a transgender woman.
“I cried. Because I resonated with some of the themes of isolation, of being misunderstood—to not know if you have a conversation with somebody, will that relationship then end because they have seen you as one way,” Dolezal told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie in an interview that aired Wednesday, one day after she told Matt Lauer that she identifies as black.

She is starting to appear as some sort of anti-progressive plant — showing us just how silly the left’s social re-alignment in U.S. is moving along — and all in one weird package. I can’t think of what might be next but she’s got something saved for her tv show I betcha.

I know! How can she claim authenticity when she doesn’t even talk like them?? I guess she can, but perhaps she realized how REALLY stupid she would seem if she did that w/Matt Lauer. I can sort of identify w/her though, when I was in the sixth grade and first heard Mowtown, I was convinced I was a black person living in a white persons body. I got a rude awakening in the seventh grade when all the Blacks that were my friends in elementary school shunned me in junior high! They didn’t want to be seen w/a white friend!! And that was in the sixties!
How can she possibly be inspired by Caitlyn Jenner? Caitlyn benefited from white privilege as a man AND as a woman. How messed up is that?

I feel sorry for her. She’s like the person who doesn’t get that everyone else isn’t laughing WITH them, but AT them.
There is a stark inflexibility in her present “personality” that defies likeability.
I do pity her.
