Bangladeshis need that work about as much as anyone in the world. We ought to have the resources and commitment to do higher-skill jobs than that.

Several have mentioned that in recent days, but I donh't think anyone really knows why. The apparel, or sewing factory industry has practically left the US. There were once twelve or fifteen plants within about twenty miles of me and now there are none.

I don't know if there are apparel, or sewing contractors in the US to handle very much of that type work any more. Even some large companies that tried to stay in the US are now mostly gone.
