The Clown of course!
Everyone loves a clown!
(they wouldn’t vote for them, but they enjoy watching the clown make a fool of himself)
Heck, why stop there!
If Trump, Kim Kardashian, and Cruz were giving a speech... who do you think would get the highest ratings?
See how that works?
Look at the state of the country because that is where the political class has led us. It might be different if we had elected true statesmen, but everything is now about getting elected and then b s ing the all way to the next election. Nothing positive is ever accomplished. We just recently elected a Republican House and Senate, and just look how they have caved and found excuses for changing nothing. That is what politicians do, and yes, getting elected is a personal accomplishment, but that does us no good when they simply inhabit the office.
Your exactly right!
And WHO was fighting them every step of the way? CRUZ!
Who has had our backs since DAY ONE of being elected? CRUZ!
Who was fighting when no one else would for conservative principles? CRUZ!
Cruz has been in the trenches day after day taking the flack from the RINO leadership. And the 1st time he doesn’t do something some conservative want... They abandon him for a CLOWN in a wig!
I like Cruz. Although he has a short track record, it seems to be a very good and consistent one. I would not speak against him, and I would say he is the best choice among the politicians.
DAYUM
CHINA IS OFFICALLY PISSED AND SENDING ASSASINS TO CRUSH HIM.
He was my top choice for the GOP nomination despite his advocacy for H-1B visas. Even bought one of the autographed Cruz posters from Sabo.
The straw that broke the camels back was Cruzs actions and words re: TPA. Had nothing to do with Trump and his circus.

EX ACT LEEE
Trump would crush Cruz talking about jobs.
And....Trump could talk to blacks from a point of respect not trying to beg and lie to them, but telling them how he would stop jobs being taken from blacks and given to illegal immigrants and bring back factories instead of helping them move to Communist China.
Blacks can dig that. What they don’t like is some white dude telling them he is their friend and cares about them....that’s B.S and they know it.
When the scope of TPP was leaked, TTIP is next, and Obama the Destroyer occupies the Oval Office.
it reminds me of the false hullaboo when FReepers were duped into raising hell over the Dubai company getting a contract to manage a port.
ignorance trumps reality again
this time FReepers have been convinced to jump in bed with the communists and disregard the rational statements of trusted leaders
None of the above at the moment. By the time my state's primary occurs, the field will have thinned quite a bit.
I also disagree with your contention that Cruz is to the right of the rest of the field. After his stunt with TPA and his support for quintupling H-1B visas, at best he's middle of the pack, assuming you can trust a word that comes out of his mouth. And I have my doubts about that given the misrepresentations he made to spin his vote for TPA.
My concept of trusted leaders does not involve those bought and paid for by Goldman Sachs, i.e. those who support quintupling H-1B visas and TPA (fast track authority) for an administration that seems hell bent on destroying this country's sovereignty by any means necessary.
As someone who did volunteer work for the United Nicaraguan Opposition (the Contras) back in the '80s, jumping in bed with the communists isn't high on my agenda either.
I can say with certainty there will be no 100% conservative running and cannot see anyone entering that would be better than Cruz or Walker outside a Palin type (which there is none on the horizon).
At this point, I wish there was a "none of the above" option both for primaries and elections. If a candidate received less votes than "none of the above," that candidate would be permanently barred from ever running for that office again.
Perhaps. I switched to donating to conservative candidates instead of the party several election cycles ago.
Although not enough to sway Cruz (particularly when Goldman Sachs is playing sugar daddy), what I will do is sit on the sidelines in the presidential race for now, donate time and money to conservatives in state and local races, and wait to donate to the GOP presidential nominee if the nominee is at least 80% conservative on key issues.
If the GOP nominee is a moderate, I will not donate to or vote for the lesser of two evils again after McCain and Romney.
Bttt
Don’t forget Ronald Reagan. :-)
