I've been a Freeper for many years. Please no spin, no Paulies. I want your take. Is this just another out for Cruz? Can we completely write off Curtis Ellis? Does this mean Sessions has it all wrong and it's Curtis Ellis' fault for exciting conservatives?

This could have been Cruz’s great opportunity. Instead he and many other RINOs voted to sell us all out.

No. The reason conservatives are opposed to this “free trade” agreement is the unbroken record of agreements that have padded the pockets of fascist elites while weakening America and hurting it’s citizens.

until recently he described himself as a progressive and worked for union-backed Democrats.

That's more than enough.

I’m going with my gut and standing firm with Cruz. Almost all of the other candidates support this trade deal but Cruz is strangely the only one taking fire for it.

For me, the trade deal is a mixed bag but overall, Cruz still stands head and shoulders above the rest in my book.

No way. I cannot side with those giving this much trade power to Obama. American jobs are at stake.

My take on Cruz ... I read his explanation of TPA and TPP and I get where he’s coming from; however, he’s a decent man and unfortunately, Obama is not. The way TPA & TPP would work under a law abiding, American loving president is not the way it’s going to work under Obama. I’m a little surprised Cruz is still expecting a decent outcome by following the process of giving Obama TPA & then expecting (or “hoping” as Steve King said) that Obama will follow the agreement, law, whatever ... and do what is in the best interests of the country. Since Obama himself has poisoned the well with everything he has said and done in the last 6 years, there is absolutely NO way he can be trusted ... thus, kill it all. If it’s that important, try again in two years. If the Dems won’t vote for it ... well, I guess the Repubs will have to somehow keep majorities in the House & Senate.

Obamacare got voted out of the Senate Finance Committee, no thanks to Olympia Snowe (the sole Republican vote), when the monstrosity could have been killed right there. She chose to break with party lines because, “I do happen to believe that we have to move the process forward, on this very difficult and challenging issue.” I see this TPA/TPP as the same thing ... no way we should even get to TPP with Obama as president.

You have to make your own choices but all the legitimate chance candidates support it.

From reading the article you posted the guy sounds like a typical infiltrator democrat who bashes tea partiers who he sees as stupid and even ran as a tea party spoiler.
