Rachel Dolezal: Her Parents “Outed” Her Because Of Her Brother’s Child Molestation Charge

And so the plot thickens.

If anyone wondered why Rachel Dolezal’s family chose to out her as white last week, Dolezal suggests it is because of a sex assault charge against Dolezal’s older brother, and a plan by her parents to damage her credibility, according to the New York Daily News.

Apparently, Rachel had been assisting a victim who had accused her biological (i.e. white) older brother of child molestation in Colorado, and previously suggested the timing of her Montana-based parents’ media interviews about her performative racial identity was connected to the case.

The News reports that Joshua Dolezal, 39, was charged in 2013 with four felony counts of sex abuse of a victim who was a minor at the time. At this time, Joshua remains out on bail, but the Clear Creek County is set to go to trial later this summer, sources confirmed.

Rachel became estranged from her parents Larry Dolezal and Ruthanne Dolezal and cut off contact with them sometime after her 2004 divorce, according to The News. The Dolezal parents had adopted four black children, and Rachel took her adopted brother Izaiah Dolezal to live with her when he was a teen.

She is expected to speak to the Spokane chapter of the NAACP on Monday about what the News terms “the racial ruse that went viral since coming to light on Thursday.”

I’d like to hear Doctor Phil discuss this one. I’m guessing he’ll go over to the bar....pour a triple shot of something, and then launch into a ‘if you were this stupid.....’ discussion.

Personally, I consider the gal to be simply a nut....an educated nut....but overall....a nut.

NJ is the first place I saw snow!

Wrong island?

Mauna Kea (Hawaiian for 'white mountain') is a 13,796' (4205 meter) volcanic mountain whose summit sometimes gets a skiable/boardable mantle of snow. There are no lifts, no grooming, no resort, but a road goes to the summit to serve the dozen or so world class observatories located at the summit. You must have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to the summit, which serves as your "lift." Basically, skiers take turns being the driver, who picks up the other skiers at the bottom of the runs and ferries them up to the summit. Conditions at the top are extremely variable. Winter temperatures range from 25 to 40 degrees F (-4 to 4 C), but wind chill and the high altitude can make it seem much colder. Between April and November the weather is milder, with daytime temperatures varying from 30 to 60 degrees F (0 to 15 C).

The name is Mauna Kea or White Mountain, from its undersea base of -19,000 feet to the wind-swept peaks of 13,796 feet, it's the world's highest mountain! It offers some of the world's highest skiing. This massive extinct volcano is blessed with the finest snow in the world, opening almost 100 square miles of ski able terrain. At this latitude the conditions are spring like; the snow is sugar corn. We call it 'Pineapple Powder'.
