"Four weeks after the deadly May 17th shooting incident outside a Waco Twin Peaks restaurant, more details have come out concerning the incident, but significant questions still remain about the actions taken by law enforcement and the polices account of what transpired.
Although the national mainstream media has largely moved on from the Waco story, if critics of the police are correct, the incident represents an unprecedented civil rights violation and media cover-up campaign by the Waco authorities....
...In a statement on Friday, the police said that of 16 officers that were in the parking lot, only three fired a total of 12 shots. However, the statement still didnt clarify how many of the bikers were killed by police. Authorities say they have not recieved final autopsy results that would clarify ballistics...."

Seems that Swanton has been put on the back bench. Chief of Police Brent Stroman gave the Friday brief.

In the absence of any evidence to the contrary, yes. There's still a lot of evidence we haven't seen but in the long run I don't see how they could get away with lying about such a straightforward matter.
To maintain such a lie you would have to have the FBI (analyzing the video), the forensics lab, a lot of the Waco PD department and some number of eye witnesses all in on the conspiracy. History says conspiracies on this scale fall apart.
We'll see.
Fully TWO THIRDS, the vast majority, of so-called criminals HAD ZERO CRIMINAL RECORD.
Truly, that fact alone is all one really needs to know to understand how bogus the whole narrative of "criminal bikers shooting bikers in a rumble over territory" actually is. It is so obviously fraudulent, that it would be funny if it wasn't so dangerous.
People on these threads have said quite a lot about them.
Other people on these threads insist they deserve mass arrest with a million dollar bail just for being there.
EXPLAIN IT, please?
Is your theory that criminal bikers are so clever that they outsmart Texas cops all cross that Great Lone Star State that much?
Is your theory that the cops in Texas are that hapless, that stupid, that year after year, they can't even catch these obvious criminal thugs on a drug charge or DUI, even when said thugs are wearing patches ANNOUNCING that they are criminals?
WHAT is your theory that explains this?
These cops must be the most incompetent boobs in law enforcement if over the past five, ten, 20, years, the vast majority of bad-ass bikers, who advertise with patches on their backs for ALL to see that they are criminals, manage to do their bad stuff under those cops very noses in the state of Texas, and only a third of those dangerous violent bikers actually get caught and have criminal records when they're finally netted in an operation such as this at Twin Peaks!
So if the cops are telling the truth, then they must be the most inept cops on the planet BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION. This is a fact and it is not in dispute: Only one third of the so-called "bad bikers" arrested at Waco had prior criminal records.
How do you explain the fact that only a third of the folks arrested had prior criminal records?
B T T T
How disappointing. I looked forward to Swanton’s fairy tale hours.
One of those killed had a DUI from years ago. Another one spent 45 days in county for carrying some sort of weapon inside a bar and again that was years ago. Neither of those rank up there with drug running or murder as some here keep spouting off about.
Probably an overly zealous LEO reaction in an attempt to prove how hard-ass the Waco PD - and whole criminal justice infrastructure - are. I'm sure a lot of people with no criminal intent got swept up, and they may well be judged not guilty in the eyes of the law, but I probably wouldn't use the term innocent.
It's hard to feign innocence at the same time you're surprised that only 1/3 of the people you're hanging out with have criminal records.
“Anybody who s into shooting AR type rifles knows its possible to buy a cartridge catching bag that attaches to a rifles receiver. “
As I understand, the bikers had bags on their 9mm. Possible up to one million rounds fired by bikers.
“There were Christian MC clubs, American Legion Patriot Riders and other non criminal oriented bikers there that were arrested. No one has said a word about them.”
I have. I keep asking for their names or club names.
(crickets chirping)
Would you be "feigning" innocence when you learned that about a third had prior records of some sort, some going back to stupid things done during their stupid yutes, such as my OWN criminal record?
To call the arrest and incarceration for weeks on million-dollar bail of 177 people, two thirds with ZIP criminal history, "overly zealous LEO reaction," is PATHETIC rationalization on your part.
You can't handle the truth.
One useful thing about this Waco travesty is that honest wheat is shaking out from disingenuous chaff. Frauds are revealing themselves after many long years of looking genuine.
“You are such a liar. LURKERS, you know that this pinhead shill refuses to click on or peruse links to news sites (not blogs, but news sites) with those details. “
Provide me with one and I will click on it and respond ....
(crickets chirping)
You asked me to explain why it happened and I gave you my opinion. That isn't the same as justifying it.
How do you explain it?
“I give a damn about bikers.”
Do you give a damn about the biker gangs?
The biker gangs that ruin it for the good bikers?
It was not an accident or the result of over-zealousness. It was deliberate and planned. To what end, is another topic entirely -- DON'T CONFUSE THE ISSUES, PLEASE.
I don't know what it WAS, but I sure as hell know it what it wasn't. It wasn't super-dumb-ass bikers acting out in the presence of God knows how many cameras, cell phones, and SIX marked police cars in broad daylight in a crowded public place. I sure as hell know it wasn't an honest mistake on the part of overzealous officers.
