acting like poverty is some sort of virtue.

Poverty is not a virtue but neither is theft. Insider trading is theft which makes our congress critters thieves and they(and their staffers) can't be prosecuted for it.

> “They need to change the process, no more hocum and woo, ...”

And next you will be proposing speed faster than light? Or proposing to defy the law of gravity?

> “... no more high pressure sleezy used car salesman tactics,”

Yes, now you’re getting to something more real and practical. Changing the used car salesman is feasible. You want an honest broker. You think there’s anyone better than Ted Cruz?

Do you have an inkling of understanding of just how hard it was for Ronald Reagan to take on the unions when campaigning in 1980? He stuck to his principles. People grew to trust him because he kept his word. Same thing happening here.

She also worked JP Morgan. You know, that little S&L run by Mr. George Bailey.

This is the new Chic talking point...the fact they trolls keep mentioning it means that this didn’t affect him at all.

Having a simple majority in either house to approve or deny a bill is what every bill is required to have in the final vote tally. The Senate can change their filibuster/cloture rules down to that of a simple majority, and the Dems did that for the past few years.

Not having the ability to end debate through cloture means debate will continue and opponents will need to keep people talking. This very often fails over time and the. the bill goes for its vote.

I don't mind if those rules are changed, but having more restrictive rules has been helpful at times. Still, we have either of the houses that can kill any agreement by a simple majority.

Huh? Of course I don’t. Nor do I support the giveaway of sovereignty, hamstringing Congress on addressing illegal immigration while allowing Asian countries to transfer any of their employees into the US at any time, etc.

The GOP is en route to betraying us and the country once again.

YOU ARE A LIAR.

You get a little hot under the collar when someone questions the object of your idolatry. What is the appeal of personality cultism. Do you get to eventually wear a uniform and keep your neighbors in line? Heidi and Teddy are showing the appearance of impropriety. Wouldn't you at least question the motivations of your average rat politician?

Well, let me ask you a question...

WHEN did TPA first begin? Were you whining about Sovereignty then?

This whole I trust SEssions thing is bothersome too...as he allowed for the passage of CAFTA.

Do some homework before making those comments. Cruz has consistently fought the GOP. Unions hated this bill...WHY?

No, nothing so grand as changing God’s laws, just a few scammy human ones, and it’s interesting that you continue to ignore that this treaty/trade agreement/what have you has already been obsessed over in secret for six years. Clearly there is no real hurry.

Ted Cruz is no Ronald Reagan.

The Cruz campaign trolls just dismissing folks’ real concerns written down with accompanying facts is very telling.

You are not person of substance if you reply with vagueness and insults to valid and thoughtful disagreements.

I never confused the TPA with the TPP and Cruz operatives trying to reason this is just a misunderstanding between what the TPA and TPP are is a false argument.

My problems and the problem of many people is Cruz’s vote and support for the TPA that then makes it very easy for the President to shove the TPP down our throats.

Again, the fact that there are so many Cruz staff members here doing everything they can to distract from the issue at hand tells me the Cruz campaign realizes they made a grave mistake and are doing everything they can to belittle people that see what is really going on.

This is only going to get worse for Cruz as more busy people learn of this betrayal it will haunt him.

TPA supports and makes TPP easy to show down our throat.

Obama wants TPA badly and so does Cruz.

All facts you cannot deny. Cruz is working with Obama.

All facts. All true. And all public record.

Playing word games back and forth about TPA and TPP just means the Cruz operatives have nothing else. We all know Cruz’s TPA makes TPP far easier to bury us with.

Well, right now I don’t trust Ted Cruz, not after he signed his name to that dishonest Op-Ed with Paul Ryan, and then started shilling for TPA-TPP.

I trust Ted Cruz if and until he betrays me.

He's doing so right now, but you refuse to see it.

> “TPA supports and makes TPP easy to show down our throat.”

TPA does not ‘support’ TPP or any other trade deal. TPA and TPP are completely different. TPA is not secret and is not a trade deal. TPP is secret and has not been voted on yet.

> “Obama wants TPA badly and so does Cruz.”

So what? So did Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter in 1980. Different motives, different intents.

Criminals want guns, so do LEOs. Does the fact that LEOs want guns put LEOs in the criminal category?

You’re saying Obama wants TPA and Cruz wants TPA and then you jump to the conclusion they are ‘working together to bring down America’?

> “All facts you cannot deny. Cruz is working with Obama.”

The fact is you don’t possess the facts. And you don’t understand any facts that you are in proximity to.
