> “Then just get it done, do or die, with Americans instead of H1Bs.”

If it was that simple, this discussion would not exist.

Reality is that all of the research, testing, development, manufacturing, deployment of new technology requires planning and task execution on the part of the existing scientific class in America who in turn require more scientists at a requisite knowledge and experience level. Like a factory with machines but few operators, the American science community can only focus on a few fronts and need to constantly prioritize all things on a an investigation and production list.

Further, scientific innovation is most often a psychological thing involving subconscious processing for problem resolution. True talent is genetic in terms of problem solving and scientific progress is often spurred by personal chemistry among scientific teams. Whether those genes, training and experience are American born or foreign born, the cross-fertilization aspect of scientific development demands that the best minds be devoted to the subject matter.

Thus, the big leagues of science demand not only a nationwide search but a global search as well to find the right stuff.

Reality is all those displaced workers who had families and are now faced with long term unemployment or worse. You don’t care a whit about what is important: the quality of life of Americans.

You are essentially apologizing for cheap Bangalore sweatshop dudes and the cutthroats that hire them.

That is reality.

What is it that you like so much about cheap Bangalore sweatshop dudes over actual American workers and actual American families.

You are saying that actual American workers are not as good as cheap Bangalore sweatshop dudes. That may be your reality. It is not my reality.

Americans first. American workers first.

Say it. Repeat it. Live it.

Or, maybe hop on a jet with a one way ticket to Bangalore if you love Bangalore and its sweatshop dudes so much.

And Cruz too.
