Ted Cruz was on with Jeff Kuhner this morning and answered some tough questions about why he supports the TPA/TPP agreements. One of the questions was specifically about what Jeff Sessions has been saying about the trade deal and Cruz blatantly said that what Sessions has been saying is not accurate. In short, he said that the US is not ceding any sovereignty to any transnational commission, that it has no power to bind the US with any law or agreement.
The interview is 24 minutes long and I urge you to listen to the whole thing. But if you want to skip ahead to the Q&A about Jeff Sessions take on this, it begins around 16:10.

I trust Cruz, but...if Obama wants this thing, it’s bad for America. And even if Obama’s mistaken and it’s not bad for America, we can do without it. We’ve done without it up to now. It’s not worth the risk.

NOTHING Obama touches is supportable. A simple majority will not stop him. Cruz is wrong to trust this president on any level.
A small fraction of the fraction of the population who follow politics know or care about this. They pass bills which haven’t been read and ignore the people because it works. It secures their power base and as a politician, nothing is more important than that.

He gave a link to the TPA, not the TPP. The TPP is what is important and Cruz acknowledges that needs to be disclosed in its entirety and it needs to be disclosed now.
I like them both. Both have said they read the “Secret Bill” that only
members of congress can read.
I have an issue with the secrecy of the bill.
The American Public does not know what is in this bill.
As a result trusting Obama on this is a mistake.
You just dont do legislation in secret. Does the audio explain that part?

The link was to the TPA, not the TPP. Anyone posting a link to the TPP can be arrested and charged with espionage.
