To: Diogenesis
The TPA (Trade Promotion Authority) is, to my way of thinking, unconstitutional. I'm just a citizen, but I don't care what some fancy lawyer, or any other “expert”, says.

Any agreement with any other nation is a treaty. What else could it be? Treaties require a 2/3 majority in the Senate. The TPA eliminates that pesky rule.

Anyone who supports the TPA is very, very suspect.

Yes, totally agree! In all the fluff and blather about the TPA, Ryan and Cruz do not mention this little issue of the 2/3 vote required for ratifying treaties in the Constitution. This is a glaring omission. Especially with Cruz, this makes me really wonder what is up?
