>> It’s free for the partners and very expensive for the USA.<<

Even NAFTA had provisions for retraining displaced American workers, but the program to aid retraining workers NEVER happened.

How many freakin jobs do we sacrifice for the sake of “free trade”?

Just read a report that big shot silicon valley execs are fighting to get this thing passed. Does that not send up red flags?

I work for a very large fortune 500 corporation. Over the last decade, they've laid off thousands of Americans and have backfilled positions with H1B’s from India.

It's freakin heartbreaking. Tawkin to a guy this morning, his last day is tomorrow. Twenty one years at the company. His manager made the comment...don't be surprised if you see a posting for your position. The guy is worried sick. I made the comment, “look like you've lost some weight”, he told me he’z lost ten pounds this week.

I remember when our government attempted to protect American industry. Now, as they walk around capital hill with money from corporations bulging from their pockets, they pat themselves on the back for a job well done.

That ball has been already determined and in play worldwide...since Nafta and all the other agreements made we, for the most part, aren't aware of.

Of course Silicon Valley wants it to go through.....they're having difficulty getting US students and Citizens here that can compete with the educational and work ethics of those overseas...they well know the difference.

I've talked with Recruiters and others from those 500 Companies and let me tell you they all say they wish Americans could sit in their chairs and observe the mindsets and work ethics of the US people compared with those who come here from overseas. And they all say it's difficult to say that, because Americans once had great work ethics.
