German public rejects NATO mutual defense

A survey published by the Pew Research Center on Wednesday showed that the majority of Germans would be against their country using military means to defend a NATO ally against Russian aggression.

Despite the notion that an attack on one is an attack on all being enshrined as Clause 5 in the NATO Charter, 58 percent of Germans said they would be against helping a NATO member on the border with Russia militarily.

Only 38 percent of Germans said they would agree with the triggering of Clause 5 under such circumstances. …

After seven months of operations at sea and in the air NATO has ended its mission for Libya. The Alliance’s job to protect civilians from the threat of attack is done. On his historic first visit on 31 October to the Libyan capital of Tripoli, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said he was proud of the part the Organization and its partners played in helping the country and the region.

Don’t forget the NATO slaughter of Serbian Orthodox Christians to placate the Bosnian and Albanian muslims. Bosnians also had Bin Laden and other terrorists helping them. I’ll never forgive NATO for that. It’s also disturbing that Turkey, an enemy, is a NATO member.

What planet are you living on? It was NATO who bombed Serbia, with the encouragement from Clinton and Tony Blair. Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Wesley Clark and Madeleine Albright are war criminals & should be punished accordingly. Just curious, if it wasn’t NATO who attacked Serbia, just who was it???
