"NOVATO (CBS SF) After George Lucas ran into a buzzsaw of opposition from his wealthy Marin County neighbors when he tried to expand his Skywalker Ranch studio, the filmmaker might be getting some payback with plans for one of the largest affordable housing projects in the Bay Area.
Lucas, the Star Wars creator is offering his own property in west Marin County off Lucas Valley Road near Novato for the project, with plans for a community of 224 homes right where neighbors said no to his studio expansion.
He said weve got enough millionaires here. What we need is some houses for regular working people, Lucas lawyer Gary Giacomini said.
Lucas says he will pay for the project himself...."
Notice that George considers moving the poor people into the rich neighborhood as payback for their rejection of his studio. Novel idea once used by Texas monied class that bought a Hyannis Port home near the Kennedy's compound and installed a poor black family, anyone remember how that turned out?
We lived off Lucas Valley Road, when we moved to Californicator land, decades ago.
Our new home was a great one. The HOA like others in Lucas Valley became a fascist organization.
That area is infested with left wing elitists, who turned down/prohibited George’s Skywalker expansion.
So his new low cost housing plan is justice.
