Glenn Beck always says, “Come to Texas for the freedom,”
so it surprises me to see something like this in a small Texas town.
Here in Maine, kids, and even adults sometimes set up roadside table/stands in small towns selling lemonade and all kinds of food products.....the authorities.....politicians and police.....don’t bother them.
I went to a yard sale in a tiny community in a Maine coastal town some years ago. The woman and her kids were also selling homemade donuts, which were some of the best donuts I ever ate.
That’s what happened to Texas—too damn many of you damn Yankees moved down here-—LOL!
I’m a 7th generation Texan, and have watched this happen with a lot of uneasiness.
