Accusations of anti-Semitism were leveled against a Muslim preacher on Wednesday, who revived Medieval blood libels against Jews in a sermon he made on the Temple Mount earlier. The preacher, Sheikh Khaled al-Mughrabi, who teaches religious classes on the mount and is an employee of the Waqf Temple Mount oversight organization, was accused of being an anti-Semite for the comments he made to his congregants.
Palestinian Media Watch translated a lecture that had been published online, in which Mughrabi accused Jews of the age-old European anti-Semitic claim of slaughtering gentile children and draining their blood for use in Passover matzot. Mughrabi went on to say that the reason why the Nazis killed Jews in the Holocaust is that Jews use Christian blood in Matzot. The video depicts Mughrabi telling congregants that Jews were also behind the 9/11 attacks on the United States, and that they worship Satan...

The Prophet Ezekiel talked about the "everlasting hatred" the people of Edom (from the cradle of Islam in Southern Jordan, Northern Saudia Arabia) have for the Jews. They lust for blood and shed blood whenever they can. Will King Abdullah put an end this this Imam's sermons? Why would he? King Abdullah himself is a 43rd descendant of Mohammed. The irony about blood libel is that it has roots in a medieval myth of Jews inverting Christology as a means of mocking it like the black mass, which Muslims are ignorant about.
So, in a sense the fanatic Muslims are justifying the validity of the Eucharist.
In a backhanded way, some of these ridiculous memes may be doing society a favor... they peg those who espouse them as sources not to be believed.
But doubtless it does fuel more mindless violent fury too, and that is a bad thing.
Are you so sure about what is going on in the mind of king Abdullah? Those of us who knew him personally from Eaglebrook and Deerfield Academy hold a very different opinion.
Or at least capitalizing upon the popularity of belief in it in Christianized society. They might not know the difference between a Catholic and a Protestant if the former told them Hail Mary and the latter Sola Scriptura.
I could be wrong and thank you for your response. Perhaps Abdullah secretly loves the Jews and wants to support them? Outside of their natural habitat, I am certain Abdullah and his family are wonderful people. But remember his father in 1967? Hussein jumped in on the side of Nassar and his Islamic brothers against Israel. He is 43rd in a line directly from the Mohammed himself and has publicly warned Israel of war recently. Do you honestly think he will stand against a regional movement to destroy the Jews? After watching this presentation, if you STILL believe that Bush was correct when he called islam a “religion of peace” (it’s not a religion and it ain’t peaceful) and Obama was right when he recently declared islam morally equivalent or superior to the Christian Crusades, you are DEFINITELY a BIG part of the problem.

another irony is that he preached this on the Temple Mount, (Mt Moriah claimed by muzlims as al Aqsa?) where Christians may not carry Bibles or display crosses and Jews may pray only around the foundation wall
