I never claimed to be an expert at anything.
And yeah I’ll take the word of the chief of police and other law enforcement professionals over a bunch of internet legal experts.

He’s tasked with keeping the peace and protecting and serving the community he works in.
It’s not his responsibility nor within his job description to have a political or cultural agenda.
Some kids got out of hand, some grownups got out of hand, and 1 cop out of 12 got out of hand.
The behavior and actions of the civilians isn’t his responsibility. The behavior and actions of the cop is.
