I’ve heard there are some section 8 apartments being built in some pretty nice neighborhoods around Houston.
An attempt was made years ago to put a public housing development in Far North Dallas. (This is the much nicer, wealthier section of Dallas.) This social engineering stunt by Judge Barefoot Sanders was repeatedly struck down in ruling after ruling. The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals finally b*tch slapped him over his constant rulings to keep this failed project afloat. Development never happened.
Back to the topic at hand, respect is a two-way street. To receive respect, one must first show respect. Regardless of what someone thinks about police officers in general, when one tells you to do something...DO IT! How freaking hard is that to understand? Do not give ANY police officer a reason, valid or not, to rough you up. Follow instructions given, don’t mouth off (especially do not use foul language), and behave like a civilized member of society. Is that really such a difficult task? For some, I suppose it is.
