The Duggars moved into their home in 2006.

When they built the house, the bedrooms were built on the second floor.

The boys room is at one end of the house, over the garage. The room is connected to the rest of the house by a long balcony or catwalk. The girls room is at the other end of the house, past the Duggars bedroom.

The girls are to always lock their door at night.

That's how they encouraged it.
