The fact that he HAD to say not that theres anything wrong with that every time he mentioned gay people was itself mocking them for being so thin-skinned. Also the "ribbon bullies" who demanded that Kramer wear the AIDS ribbon if he was going to participate in the AIDS walk.

Especially the episode where they rip off the armoir that Kramer is supposed to be protecting for Elaine. He didn't so much as raise his voice to those two pissants. Not a normal, American male response at all.
