Even in Texas, had a resident shot and killed any of the so-called trespassers, the resident would have been charged with, and likely convicted of, murder.
Be certain, they were trespassing. Nobody has the right to go to someone elses property, have a party, create a scene, and resist arrest when the cops are called.
