Demanding professionalism from law enforcement is conservatism, not PC or liberalism.
And this idiot officer’s life was not in danger. All of the other officers understood the situation and acted professionally. One officer acted like an idiot. And he’s the one you defend?
Have you ever been afraid for your life? Answer that question first. I have, I have the scares to prove it. Just on my left arm I have three nasty scars from a knife attack. The cop was surrounded and was clearly afraid for his life. Those punks were trying to get the jump on him and he pulled his gun. To bad he did not get rid of some more trash. No body has the right to interfere with a cop trying to make a justified arrest. Add to the situation the hostile atmosphere and you have the recipe for mistakes. It is better to act like an idiot and live than to die.
Those other officers rushing up are probably the only reason someone didnt get shot.
