Is it normal for 15 year old boys to confess to their fathers anything wrong that they do?
You are an asshat. It’s not normal for any child to do that which makes the story of Josh doing it all the more suspect.

It may be more of a normative action in their Gothard cult for a 15 year old to confess.
But I’m not sure if the confession at 15 was from Josh or the if it was the 5 year old that told on him. The police report doesn’t have pronouns and Jim Bob has lied about so much there is just no way of knowing if Josh confessed.
