I have not, but I will check it out.
My problem with the IFB’s was the leadership. There were plenty of good people there, but the men running it were evil and hateful. Lots of congregants knew and didn’t like the way things were run, but they were afraid to say anything.
I voted with me feet, after I shook the dust off at them.
I feel ya. I’ve seen so much pure wrong in IFB’s I could cry.
I love my current pastor though. He was raised Catholic but got saved when he was 25, spent about ten more years as a successful contractor while supporting his family and going to school at night.
The church isn’t big or big on “standards” and it doesn’t major on the minors.
The pastor encourages the other men in the church to preach also and they get together and study a book of the bible and then every Wed. the men take turns preaching.
