There is no law on the books or in society that states that if a victim forgives a perpetrator, that all of society must forgive the perpetrator and that there are no consequences.
But God says you will sear your own soul that way. Getting it ready for the fires of hell.
LOL, all I'm asking is what it would take for you to forgive Josh. What would he have to do, at this point? You damn him freely and often. So, what's the flip side?
And, if you simply cannot see yourself ever forgiving him under any conditions, say so. It will help everyone understand why you condemn him so much. No one will hate you, most will understand that's just how you feel, even if they disagree with you. But fair's fair. If you're going to constantly yell "crucify him," at least admit you will accept nothing less for his crime.
