If story hurts these young women, then the family should stay off TV.
That wouldn’t matter if they did, you would still enjoy poking at them.
It was the parents choice that put them on TV, not the choice of the children. Regardless, it doesn’t give the casual, outside observer the right to be cruel and graceless.
Whether the parents did the right when this happened is certainly debatable. If it was handled incorrectly Josh Duggar can’t be blamed for that, either. That they are in the public eye, makes his victims no less victims. That someone released this information as a tool to destroy them is an ugly business to be sure.
