Their bench was thinned out by the Tea Party in 2010 and 2014.
Kind of reminds me of English history in the late 18th century when King George III was displaying fits of insanity and “melancholy”. His advisers dare not say it in public but they wrote in their diaries, “The King is mad...”
Oh I dunno about that at all. Most of the people the TEA Party sent to replace Democrats either were or quickly became Republicans in Name only while assisting Obama in providing weapons to terrorists, fully funding Romney...sorry, Obamacare several times, Abandoning the DOMA and other very, VERY leftist things. They fully backed Mitch and Jonbon to lead the party and fully backed Mitch and Jonbon for office when Mitch and Jonbon CAMPAIGNED on WORKING WITH Barack Obama.
So no. I don’t see the bench is thin. I see it as strengthened because the Dems now have complete cover and support. They get their agenda regardless of the D or R on the masthead.
That’s history folks. Go vote for more lesser evil no matter what. Brilliant.

Carly lambasted Hillary for not answering questions---and brilliantly scheduled a presser outside Hillary's staged appearances which bussed-in Democrat factotums.
This is more dangerous for the calculated Hillary---b/c she was counting on being untouchable, "above reproach"----planning to win by acclamation (that is to say without the cheering crowds).
Now it looks like she's fair game. Let the slings and arrows fly....bring it on, rank and file Republicans.
