The guy in Miami is still in prison. He will die there. There was nothing actually proved and most of the charges were impossible. Janet Reno mad keeping him locked proof of her own integrity.

I think you’re Spot on! Without an autopsy, how did the press know what killed that guy? Even an experienced doctor could only speculate. Likely someone heard a doctor mention his neck was broken, but that is not necessaril what killed the thug. Remember, George Patton had a broken neck and lived until whoever offed him in Heidelberg.
Most of the abuses I’ve seen in high profile cases didn’t come from the media reporting them, but from the media trying them. The Sam Sheppard case is the classic example.

He was reported as a non-breather at the moment the first paramedic evaluated him at 9:37. They worked on him for 17 minutes before he was transported. I don’t know the exact point at which respiration was reestablished.
Let me correct my comment regarding the coma, though, because it’s not correct. The consensus appears to be that he remained in a coma throughout his stay in the hospital. My error, there.
My post 47 is incorrect. UCANSEE2 is right, the consensus seems to be that Gray was unconscious during the entire hospital stay.

Mosby is a mouth breather-imbecile. You tell this at a glance. The only IQ she has is in political cunning to get to the top of the fetid heap in Baltimore. Which is a booby prize.
After hearing Mosby’s first speech which included the ‘we heard you no justice no peace’ it was clear she had overweaning ambitions. But this current action is gob smackingly stupid.
The Baltimore State’s Attorneys have to hand over the autopsy report to defense attys before the trial in timely fashion to allow for a proper defense. In addition, any exculpatory evidence must be presented as well. All of the documents must be dated and certainly in the case of the autopsy report signed by the coroner or medical examiner. It’s just not possible for Mosby to hide this much longer. I can now understand better the departure of the four or so asst MSA lawyers. Bet they advised her on proper procedures and she blew them off, most likely citing her support by DOJ, Jarrett and rev-runt Al.

Since the symptoms of a broken neck and heroin overdose are similar, then the only thing that might resolve this would be the results of the autopsy.
I believe THAT is the reason why the autopsy report has not been released. Whether that is due to Mosby or someone else is another question. I don't trust the media on the reporting about this case.
I'll take the opposite stance.
I think that Freddie didn't do heroin. I think he was selling it because it's popular right now, and his mom is a heroin addict. That way he could keep her supplied at little to no cost.
Freddie was a dope smoker, not a horse freak.
If we assume that he swallowed the drugs (when he ducked into a building temporarily and just prior to being caught) then the effects of an OD might help explain his reaction while in the police van.
I watched the video of his 'arrest'.
He is being dragged by the cops, his feet flailing along behind.
BUT, when they push him up on the entry step of the van, he stands up completely erect. Based on what I have read on this case, the police say he did this (acting like he can't walk/is injured) during previous arrests (of which there were many).
Yeah... an autopsy report.
