Well I haven’t been following this ordeal...so I listened to the videos linked.
Based on what the parents stated, and how they handled this seemed appropriate to me. ...understanding that the kid was 14 at the time etc. I likely would have done the same...kept it in house as a parent and for the sake of my kids...until I could see there was a more serious issue needing to get addressed. Which is what they did.
With all due respect, I would hope that you (or any parent) would see the situation as “a serious issue needing to get help” the FIRST time your son came to you and admitted molesting his sisters, not the THIRD time.

After having watched a number of episodes of “19 Kids and Counting”, watching the Meghan Kelly interview and going through all the posts in this thread, I’m somewhat at a loss for words. I think what I’m seeing are posters who are absolutely REEKING on jealousy and of a complete lack of compassion and understanding. That’s IMHO, of course.
