Westport gas technology?
Does that mean the intake manifold pivots as the vehicle makes turns?

Are Volvos still driven in the US by the worst drivers in the known Universe. “I can’t drive. I’m a danger to my fellow man. I’ll get a Volvo. At least I won’t kill myself.”

Certainly not in the first year of the technology. Give it 5+ years to iron out the kinks and fix recurring problems and the idea is solid. Usually they are lemons for the first 2-3 years though.

I thought Saab drivers held that distinction.

I thought Saab drivers held that distinction. Have had terrifying personal experiences with Volvo drivers. I drove a 9000. Good handling car. Had a friend with a 93B. He was a great driver but did not particularly obey any laws.
