He doesn’t even know that the quote is from a PLAY! He’s attacking the historical figure of More, as opposed to the character presented in the work of fiction! LOL! Talk about outing yourself!
Here’s another quote for him to attack: “It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”
I wonder what the politics of the originator of that quote was. Oh, wait, I don’t. Especially since I have the minimum education to know what the genetic logical fallacy is, and ignore morons who don’t...
Do you enjoy bashing your head against a wall? If so, continue the “dialogue.”
fwiw
Obviously no one is familiar with A Man for All Seasons anymore:
Give up while you're behind.
Yes I can see where if Waco shot the detainees that would lead to legal liability.
Advice taken (at least after I have the enjoyment of pointing out he didn’t even read my post).
Thanks.
(FR really needs an “ignore” function).

This story is a textbook for those that wish to move to Texas.

I’ve enjoyed that poster all I can stand.

spoken by an f’n troll for sure!

The Hells Angels keep trying to move to Texas. The Bandidos once again put out the message that they will tolerate no competition in Texas.
He’s paid well to do this crap here.
He won’t give up until he is personally exposed.

The “Hells Angels” is a dwindling group of about a dozen people.

LOL!
I read Utopia a long time ago. There are differences of opinion. Not my vision of Utopia, however.

What I found interesting was not so much Utopia but the actual deeds of Thomas More.
As I posted, TM had heretics burned to death. Their crime? Wanting the Bible printed in English so the common man could read it. TM believed that only the elite had enough knowledge to be able to interpret the Bible.
In fact, TM often wrote two copies of each of his works. One in English and one in Latin. In the English version, he put what he wanted the common man to believe. In the Latin version he wrote what he considered the ‘true story’.
“The Hells Angels is a dwindling group of about a dozen people.”
They have 31 chapters and each chapter is required to have at least 6 riders ....
This goes to show the Waco showdown was most likely previously planned. The logistics of this mammoth spontaneous occurrence is mind boggling. How many Greyhound buses can carry 100 prisoners to drunk tanks?
