The Department of Justice is concentrating on “far-right” groups in a new study of social media usage aimed at combatting violent extremism.

Tell the damn Obama-Holder-Lynch Department of Just Us mob to stop making such Casses of themselves. Americans don't want a news or any other kind of czar and fetters.

Here's how President Obama's [former] head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs and author of "Repulblic.com," Cass Sunstein, describes FreeRepublic.com as "group polarization," where people segregate themselves so effectively online with other like-minded thinkers that they create an echo chamber where the group's worst and most malevolent opinions get reinforced and strengthened. "We might want to consider," Sunstein startlingly told the Times recently, "the possibility of ways of requiring or encouraging sites to link to opposing viewpoints."

Cass Sunstein recently left the Administration to become an employee of Harvard.

The really amusing thing about that Cass Sunstein comment is that many FR threads are started with, or include, links to sites with “opposing viewpoints”

Actually, I’d guess most threads here do have such links.

So it’s not like Sunstein’s hypothetical typical (and nonexistant) Freeper (who ONLY gets his news from FR. And perhaps FOXNews) isn’t exposed to them.
