Shooting a perp after he has scattered and is no longer a threat is really way good way to get a ticket to prison.

I knew a guy in NM who lived in a town that was full of maggot street type punks. Nobody ever thought of messing with him. He was a class III gun dealer, and had a lot of guns and ammo on the premises. His home was surrounded by high chain link fence with razor wire on top.
Nobody EVER thought of messing with him. He cultivated the crazy guy notion. He was a great guy.
I think the Bros in the Hood will know, at least one of those whities carries and shoots well.
They will avoid him.
Kind of amazing the original CBS news article made a point of naming the race of the robbers (black) and the race of the (armed) victims (white).
The media just did the same thing for the DC mass murderer and his victims. What gives? Is this a new trend? And who put out the word that it’s now OK to name the race of criminals and victims after it had been covered up for so many years?

Hell, he hit all three (one dead & one critical) without hitting his buddies AND prevented the armed robber from shooting anyone. I’d say that’s remarkable shooting under the circumstances.
Hard to believe CBS has figured out lying to their viewers is a bad idea... but that's seems what's happened here. Odd.
Everything is about race now, especially when it comes to whites shooting blacks. Never mind that is was in the words of Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler, "straight up regular common sense statutorily codified self defense," it still fits the agenda.
He hit all three bad guys. I’d say he did quite well. The object is not to kill the bad guy, it is to stop the threat. He did that. Kudos to him and his shooting ability.

I’m 64 and a cancer patient, and my wife is a semi-invalid (she’s ambulatory but is wholly dependent on forced oxygen). I carry everywhere it is legal to do so. We don’t go anywhere I can’t carry, except for when I go to work (gun-free zone).
I see any physical threat to us as lethal, so I will respond accordingly. Any kind of punch will do in my wife, and a half-way good one will put me under.
It's all about whites shooting blacks these days, whether it's white cops or white citizens. That the blacks getting shot are criminals doesn't matter. Look at the Gentle Giant®.

My kids don’t have a social position where that statement would even work, but boy would I have come down on them if they had tried to pull something like that.
And they grew up knowing it. Never did have any patience for bullies.
