Kerry is actually a fairly skilled rider, and has a lot of experience.
Apparently, he was riding at a slow speed on a flat section, and just wasn’t paying attention.
Whether he should be riding at all when he holds an important government office is another question. It doesn’t look good when you’re out pursuing your personal hobbies while on an important diplomatic mission, however quixotic.
