I never did take to dolls much. I was such a tomboy at one point that today teachers would be informing my parents that I was probably a lesbian or "transgender" candidate. Fortunately, I had patient, understanding parents and loving brothers.

Sure, you're not helpless without men -- because you have at your disposal things that men invented so you could be independent. :^) Things like automobiles, guns, and good ol' weasel pee (WD-40)!

Me, I love men and am perplexed by most women, but I am prejudiced. I believe in my heart that men are the stronger sex in one way, and most emphatically the weaker sex in another way.

Men are physical strong but emotionally a zillion times more vulnerable than women, at least in long observation. For example, the vast majority of way wacko sicko sex offenders were sexually abused as children, often by their mothers or women. It screws those men up so badly that they do horrific things -- emotionally, they cannot handle it.

By comparison, the vast majority of women who were sexually abused as children, often by their fathers or men, grow up scarred but are usually able to collect themselves and live reasonably normal lives.

Another example. A guy whose heart gets mangled and betrayed in one romance is usually pretty well wrecked for a long time. A woman whose heart gets broken in romance usually bounces back within a few years, tops. Not saying that one is good or the other bad -- just that we are wired differently as per God's wisdom.

What gentlemen give us women -- independence, the ability to function in a material world without their immediate presence or protection (that's where guns come in) we can return by giving them what they cannot provide themselves, which is tender embrace and respect for their particular kind of fragility. Just my take!
