He isn’t shocked, but he certainly DOES care. This is all according to plan. He’s not a fool. He’s not incompetent. This isn’t a rudderless ship sailing wherever the current takes it.
This is a PLAN to wreck the economy to the point where an overwhelming majority of Americans (who are not his banker and corporatist cronies) demand socialism just to be able to survive.
Obama and the billionaires want an America that can “compete” on the global market. The only way to do that is by paying Chinese wages and that will require government subsistence payments. It is neo-feudalism wrapped up in a socialism blanket.
I do believe you are absolutely correct and a huge percentage of America either is too naive to figure it out or simply refuses to see it. There is still a great desire out there to believe that we will be saved by the ballot box of “democratic” elections. Those who still want to believe that have never understood that this nation was never intended to be a democracy and the farther we move toward a defacto democracy the less chance there is to ever climb out of the hole we are in. The Republic is gone. The Republic was doomed when we passed amendments to allow direct election of senators and give the vote to anyone over the age of 18. Our elections now have little more meaning than an election in Cuba.
