Why so many years later? I doubt their are a ton more victims. One is bad enough. That does not excuse the guy for blackmailing Hastert all these years later. I question whether he kept his end of the bargain anyway since this is now in the news.
I know the victims of child molesters.
$3 million is a good start for compensation for such evil. I don’t care what party they work for.

It’s probably in the news because the bank notified the feds of “suspicious activity” by Hastert. The feds found out who he gave the money to and the guy squealed like a pig.
