Not my normal post- BUT, chance to light heartedly share; in no particular order (and with absolutely no disrespect to the distaff side, just curious):
1. Why are women slave to whatever comes on the fashion market, particularly when its unflattering to soooo many e.g. bare mid riffs;
2. The gal who just had a baby, walking with stroller; - the most provocative outfits in the neighborhood.
3. Thongs, string bikinis? Geeeze, not for everyone, eh???????
4. Thinking of the interview of female twins, upon reaching 100 years, commenting on todays fashion paraphrasing in our day, showing a little ankle was enough to get a gal in trouble.
Conventional wisdom is that women are much more attuned than men- generally agreed. But then, how can they be so dense with this fashion thing?

It’s about time. I’ve always called it wedgie-wear. It is crazy that it ever became popular.

I really think the early 60s are back. First black plastic eyeglass frames, now cotton underwear. And all the men are wearing tight suits with skinny ties.
You will probably soon see the return of the fedora and the trench coat.

Thongs are necessary under some of the more fitted clothes. Panty lines are not pretty.
Besides, thongs are pretty comfortable.

Oh, and one more, the whole “big butt” thing. My young nieces put on 10 pounds, walked around like their backs were out of joint. What’s with that??

Does this thong make my butt look big?

Fedoras have already come back around. I saw them in the mid/late 90s during that short-lived swing-era revival, and today fedoras are a basic accessory for your average hipster.

Do the rules apply to this thread?

Thongs and yoga pants are the best things to come out of the 2000’s. Now if only Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers would just catch on a bit more... :)

That’s a matter of opinion lol, maybe her not wearing them during work but when you are at home with the missus and she puts them on, it spices up the night.

Sensible cotton briefs have always been available from Hanes and Fruit of the Loom.

I can hear it now: "Well it's just not FAIR that some girls look good in string bikinis! So I'll just go ahead and wear one anyway, even though I need to lose about 100 pounds, to show them! And I will feel better about myself, so there!" Typical female mentality.

If the NBC drama ‘The Blacklist” keeps growing in popularity then you’re going to be very satisfied with your prediction!

From my understanding, modern “urban” music and those who perform it glorifies the ‘big butt’. Today’s young women think it’s ‘cool’ to be dating a young, black male, and that is the “look” that attracts them. Yes, it’s a stereotype, but it happens to be true.
That’s about the ‘safest’ way I can describe it.
