“9-dead-civilian shoot-out”
I have seen more than one report that the dead and wounded were Cossacks (or affiliates) or Bandidos (or affiliates). Fortunately there were no non-gang civilians killed or wounded.
It is certainly tragic that anyone was killed or wounded.
They were not soldiers, they were not policemen, they were not fugitives, they were civilians. And they're dead. Furthermore, they were shot at with innocent civilians in the vicinity.
The folks in jail without criminal records but who are being held on million dollar bail tell the real story. That's why they're in there incommunicado and why the bail was set so high they can't get out.
A little update -- so far, I've gleaned that PERHAPS eight were Cossacks and 1 a Bandido MC member ... but ON THE OTHER HAND, the family of shot-to-death Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, an active-duty Marine from 69-73 and a Purple Heart recipient, maintain that he was NOT part of any motorcycle gang. That behavior is ONLY consistent with truth; if he was a member and the family denied it or wasn't aware ... that's way far fetched. I believe the family because frankly, they are more believable than the officials.
You default to believing the LEOs even when it sounds fake.
That's dumb.
