Well, it’s a Commie idea, but the drive to Communize American schooling started in earnest about 1830. It didn’t start in 1919; it was COMPLETED in 1918. That’s when the last county in the U.S. buckled to the forces of Communist “education.”

IIRC, back in the 1980's when I was in high school, one of my teachers, well a couple really, did not like how our educations system was run. It is basically a highly structured, German Bismarck model where it is designed to turn out worker drones instead of fostering free thinking. I think with that in mind and the Communist goals, we are there now and as time goes on, we are actually abusing our kids by stifling free thought and the ability to think.

I'm afraid as a society, we have fallen asleep at the switch on this one and we are paying for it dearly.
